Truck Tailgate Lights Installation

Installation of these LED lights for truck tailgates is as easy as connecting the two pieces together, mounting the truck tailgate light bar strip, and plugging in the Flat 4 Pin Trailer Connector. The connector has 3-1/2’ of wire and plugs directly into the trailer plug of your full size truck. A white wire with a Spade Connector is attached to the harness that allows you to use the White Reverse Lights feature. Use the included Splice Connector on the factory reverse lights wire and insert the Spade Connector into the Splice Connector.

Plug & Play Connectivity The attached Flat 4 Pin Trailer Connector provides the simplest way to power the light bar by using your truck's trailer plug. The attached white wire is used to activate the Reverse Lights feature by tapping into the factory reverse lights wire in your tail light assembly.	IP68 Waterproof Rating The SMD LED lighting is completely sealed in a clear polymer resin providing the light bar with an IP68 Rating. This truck tailgate light bar was built to hold up to extreme weather conditions, regular car washes, and even the occasional dip in a boat slip.	2pc Aluminum Housing The 2-piece aluminum housing with interlocking design provides rigidity to the overall length of the light bar, giving you a straight, clean look across the back of your truck. This option activates the 108 ultra-bright Red SMD LEDs, illuminating the rear of your full-size pickup and notifying other drivers when you’re slowing down.	Reverse Lights The Reverse Lights feature utilizes the upper row of 108 ultra-bright White SMD LEDs on these double row LED lights for truck tailgates. When you put your pickup in reverse, the lights will be activated automatically, clearly alerting other drivers when your truck is backing up.	Turn Signals The Right Turn Signal and Left Turn Signal features operate in conjunction with the Red SMD LEDs. When you use either turn signal, the corresponding side of the light bar will blink simultaneously in red while the opposite side remains inactive.
